Oxfam America is one of the four Summer of Social Good charities. Millions of people around the world live in poverty, without access to adequate supplies of food and water, basic health care, or education. Living in extreme poverty often means living with violence and disease; it means living without control over decisions that affect your life; it means living without basic human rights that should be available to all people.
