HTC Hero shows up in promotional video [Updated]
A video promo for the HTC Hero Android smartphone has shown up online, demonstrating the handset’s new “Rosie” UI . No details regarding the origins of the video are known, but it appears to be an official HTC demo showing the angular handset running through its new OS. Video HTC Hero demo after the cut Highlighted features include the photo-viewer (with four-way accelerometer rotation), GPS with mapping and directions, and the Android Market. There’s also a brief view of the internet browser. The video ends with the candy-red Hero being joined by another six handsets, suggesting that HTC will have a broad range of color options unlike the current white or black of the Magic and G1.
